Mother's Lament
Wasted wilted fruit of my womb
 violated and molested.
Years of heat in Summer's June
 my very existance contested.

By those who "loved" and took and beat
 and those arounnd me silent
to take and sweet me off my feet
 to marriage so lovely violent

And bore this child, this friut of my womb
 violated and molested
In the dreay spring's jet black bloom
 whoe memories now digested.
