The time that goes

The time that passes; fast and quietly.
You hate them, they are to controlling,
You want to be 18 already, you want out,
Everything is getting hard ,
And you can feel the independence on the tip of your tongue,
You want to be there already,
Up until now the time flew by fast,
You want it to be time already,
You push them away,
They want you to be their ‘perfect daughter’
You know that’s not you,
So you wait for the time to pass,
And it only slows down.
