Happily Ever After
December 21, 2012
Her eyes shine bright,
Shine bright like a star.
A wonderful light,
That comes from afar.
Her lips speak quietly,
As she whispers in my ear.
And ever so mildly,
Reminds me why I'm here.
Her voice, sings a soft tune
And the pain disappears.
We know this will end soon,
So we hold each other near.
Her touch, gentle like a rose
Makes me start to weep.
Our fear quickly grows
And together, we make the leap.
With her hand in mine,
We quickly find
The way to the next chapter
In our happily ever after.
