Paint your beautiful façade.
Harness your abilities
for this intricate work of art,
storing in the back drawer of memory,
the reality of your unchanging Canvas.

…Paint…
idyllic countryside scene
glimmering gold-garbed existence
ascetic sacrosanct piety
buoyant devil-may-care manner

Paint on the surface which remains
only a Canvas.

Veneer burns quickly you know?
Cheap wood burns quicker!

Apply your paint,
Slap on your veneer-
Brush strokes can only go so far;
Truth and Time are fire enough.

It is impossible to pretend to be who you're not forever..hypocrisy is a lie not just to the outside world but also a lie that the hypocrite himself/herself needs to overcome.
