Favorite Quote:
“We are the bright new stars born of a screaming black hole, the nascent suns burst from the darkness, from the grasping void of space that folds and swallows--a darkness that would devour anyone not as strong as we. We are oddities, sideshows, talk show subjects. We capture everyone's imagination.”

We are going to explode from the sky
Like mortars, one day

One day we are going to do what will be asked of us
And more
Heartbreaking and staggering
Catching sweat-soaked bodies
With our refreshing sweetness
Or nursing a desert back to
A forestry hue
We will do immeasurable, wonderful things

But we are but small raindrops
And there are no clouds
No sign of tempest
No anthemic thunder
No thrilling lightning
No drought

No cause for action
No horns, where are the horns?
I was told there would be trumpets
Where is our call to arms? Our reason
for fighting
For quenching the needy
For securing the lattice
It's too f****** sunny out

So I guess we have to stay put
Maybe when we're older
More resolute raindrops
Our hearing will improve
As what is around us will crumble

So let's stay put
We can wet the world another day
Anyway,
That rose bush looks pretty parched
