The Dancer
she moves like the wind
 stepping through forests
as if she were the wind
 her long dark curls
swung down like cascades of silk
 in the shadows of trees
 she moves and glides
her bare feet barely touching the ground as she dances
 graceful movements of beauty
 dancing across the forest
 wandering and roaming
trapped in a world of timeless beauty
and dances to the melodies of winds
 touching her skin
the Dancer waltzes across the forest floor
spinning until the world falls and the sun engulfs the world
and the Dancer's eyes see gold
 falling from the sun
the whispers of songs echoing in her head
 her feet dancing forever
 the timeless world
 a Dancer's dream
 floating away
with the faint sounds of music
softly blowing in time with the Dancer
 into the distance
 into the sun
 away from the forest
 the Dancer swirls
 leaving all she knew behind
 dancing away into the sunrise
