Blades of Terror
I felt a deep rumbling within my stomach
An insatiable taste for matter
I needed to devour
My eyes scanned the room, looking for potential targets
Eyes like sniper’s
I could not find anything, so my hand went to the nearest tool
Tools as sharp as lasers
My eyes finally found their target
It was bright, I had wondered why I missed it during the first scanning
I took my surgical knife and brought it down
The guts of my target splattered everywhere, across the walls, floor, and me
I laughed in glee as I annihilated the target
I went wild, fueled on by the sight of guts
I grabbed a hammer, and smashed it
I slammed it down the sink, turning on the garbage disposal unit
Cackling as the target made its way down the blades of sheer terror
Then, just then I felt the hunger grip me again
I lurched, I heaved, and I tried to stop myself
But my guttural instinct got ahold of me, as I gave up
I shoved my head down the sink, ignoring the blades of terror rotating
Trying to eat the banana
Only to discover, it was rotten
