One worn-out Spartan with faith
worthy of more than 24-carat gold
fights alone on the frontline
defying the flames of fear
Armed with the shield of wisdom
and the mighty sword of ink
spends life in the combat zone ad infinitum
with illimitable struggles for 24 recurring hours
The foes bombed the peaceful fields
and took hostage of what's left of me
They tied thorns around my wrists
I have the wounds to prove it
So teach me how to win the battle when
there are 24 ribs around
the part of me that I want to
set free the most
