3:40 A.M. on the day before the end of time
I don’t want to be see through.
I long to be someone to admire; someone to taste like sunshine on your tongue and moonbeam on the black waters of your heart.
I want to grab the very soul out of your body and make you feel my breath in your hair.
I want to live in love, happiness, and serenity.
My eyes shine amber in the sun.
Can I burn your pulse with my gold? Tell you the stories I’ve never told?
I long to make you bleed and drown in a pool of a perfect memory.
