Beautiful Memories Before Our Eyes
To me, memories are like ticking clocks
A reminder of what we have and what we do not
Moments of pain and hurt
Sometimes pure perfection on earth
Though our minds usually fade as time goes by
I believe those memories are always somewhere deep inside
From the first time you laugh
To the last time you cry
Dying is something we all wish wouldn't thrive
The single fear in everyone's eyes
Hoping for the best, as you say goodbye
But what we all see in those last few moments of life
A flash of those beautiful memories before our eyes
