Cold Weather

This cold weather sticks
It doesn’t want to leave
The sun is begging
But the blizzards ignore
We cover ourselves
We trap the heat
Snow balls and angel
Kids run and play
Candles fill the air
Fire places burn
We all wait though
Warmer days are coming
The winter must die
Spring will be born
It is a battle
It will never end
For now we freeze
Some enjoy what time is left
For me?
I wait undecided.
