Our Road
I’m walking on this road for what seems like a very long time now.
Every step I make makes me wonder the end of this.
I’m not talking about death
I’m talking about the road where the start is a relationship and hoping the end is being happy with the person you started it with.
So this road I’m walking on is always where I end up.
It’s not because I want to or maybe deep inside I know this is the only road I want to walk on forever.
My point is whenever I turn left or right, whenever I get lost I always find this road.
And you’re always there waiting for me, always there exactly where I left you.
Your hand is open just waiting for me to hold it and continue what we started.
It’s our road.
It’s the only road that gives me light.
This is the only road that I’m willing to walk on endlessly.
I’ll walk with you even if it takes forever to reach the end.
It’s our road.
It’s you and me.
