Whispers blossoming
under a lucent night sky -
windswept undertones
carried through the dark -
the last of them still quivering
in the flurry of soft murmurs,
one last note stringing the harmony
so steadily -
one last sigh to weave through
the thick yet fragile air -
a mere suggestion,
a quiet beauty.
