I felt
My spirit
Die.
I was sitting in class,
Watching time pass,
And away it started to fly.
I jumped and I tried,
I kicked and I cried,
But only within my mind.
So I went on with my day,
Slowly wasting away,
In classrooms to which I’m confined.
And with the loss of my soul,
And the absence of a goal,
I continued
To do
