Smile
He smiled.
A small, tight lipped smile,
It must be said,
But a smile
Nonetheless.
His eyes did not twinkle,
Or glow,
Neither did his nose scrunch up,
Or his face light up.
It was not,
Really,
Even a smile,
Unless you squinted
And turned your head to the side.
But it was his,
And it was mine,
And it was ours alone.
