Fear:
I am there at the happiest but also there at the saddest.
Time and place don’t matter.
Just give me thought and see me born,
Lurking in the shadows, watching and waiting.
Just turn around and greet me,
Even though I suspect you won’t.
You will find me in the darkest alleyways with only the moon,
Glowing with a fire’s radiance.
Try to take the time to see and feel,
The time it takes to notice the unavoidable,
For I am the one born of the shadows,
Of the fright and of the unknown.
Tremble as I am the only one who can truly be,
Pure, uncorrupted, and deadly.
Fear.
