He Sits Alone
He is in his room, he sits alone,
He has his music loud to drown out the sound,
He still hears them when they yell at home,
He prays to God that he will be found.
He takes a walk to clear his head,
He looks down at the ground and kicks the dirt
He wonders what would happen if he were dead,
He just does not want to feel the hurt.
He thinks no one is there, no one is around,
He wants to forget the pain of it all,
He pulls out a gun from a hole in the ground,
He sees no more reason, he feels so small.
He goes back to his room, he sits alone,
He tries to think of ways to fix it, he sees only one
He closes his eyes and lets out a moan,
He sits paralyzed, he just wants to be done.
