Not all who wander are lost

When a friend goes, the heart turns cold
Oh how I wish I could once again stroke your mane of gold
The touch of your velvety nose
fades away as the wind blows
Come back to me my friend
Our time together came to a quick end
I hear your last nicker of fear
I sigh as I cry a sad tear
I see you again in a beautiful dream
And we soar over the clouds of cream
Your friendly nicker welcomes me
I run to your comfort my long time friend
We soar across the skies
free from the pain and free from the lies
In that perfect world, we once again meet
Comforted by the steady drum of your thundering feet
I love you my friend, its hard to say bye
Even know as I still cry
I want you to know you are forever with me
That last stroke to your neck, and that last kiss to to your nose
Was the most painful thing as the tears rose
I will visit you again, outside of my dreams
But until then, never forget me, as I will never forget you
Meet me in that beautiful world
And until then, My love for you will never end.

After selling my first horse (Jasmine)I was compelled to write a last goodbye. This was done a quite a few months ago, and I still do not know of her whereabouts.
