Favorite Quote:
"You have not even begun to scratch the surface of how important your life means to not only me, [y]our friends and [y]our family, but your life, which is a gift for the world that is waiting for you." - Brent Smith.

My mind,
feverish and unstoppable.
Inspiration galore,
musically alive.
Fluid,
calm,
like an extension of my body.
Swinging and swaying,
to the beat created.
Away I play
until dawn's brilliant rays

The author's comments:
I wrote this at 1 in the morning, after a bout of insomnia I got up, grabbed my guitar, and started playing, and playing, and playing. I could not stop myself and I played until the sky turned three shades brighter. I wrote this poem in commemoration right before I got a few hours of much-needed sleep.
