Wheat bread on the kitchen counter
Buttered.
THE BREAD WAS OLD
The smell of roses in a grave

I went home
At 7:30 pm Sunday

Mi abuela ya no esta
The bread, smell was the end.

Mi abuelita se murio, y el cafe fue su final.

Well this poem was done with the help of one of my teachers. We had to be very descriptive of the last moment we saw someone . Most people chose someone that died. So did I . My grandma died about 4-5 years ago and the last thing i could remember from her was coffee. Then she died so i pretty much described how i felt during that time and the last good thing that she did every day and that i remember.
