My friend,
I cannot wait to see you again!
To converse excitedly with you
About everything and nothing.

I have forgotten the color of your eyes,
And your hair,
And how you look when you smile.

When summer turned to fall we were parted.
All winter we kept our friendship alive through the written word.
And because of it we are closer.

I want to see you.
To hug you.
To smile at you.
Because of you.

I am so excited to hear you’ll be here soon!
I cannot wait to see you!
In fact I almost wish you were here now
…But then I wouldn’t have time to finish making your present.

I’ll see you soon.
I’ll be waiting.
Waiting here to hear your tales.
Waiting here to tell you stories that can only be told in person through exaggerated facial expressions and hand gestures.

It seems Spring has come.
Spring is bringing me flowers,
And green grass,
And you.

Again awesome ending and you know now that I've read quite some of these, I know what I like most about your poetry. The fact that it's all so close to your heart and so personal and that every word portrays exactly what your most inner thoughts are.
