“If you feel everything intensely, ultimately you feel nothing at all.”
― Elizabeth Wurtzel

Your justification mocks me; my pain only matters because you acknowledge it?
My pain is only real because you understand it?
But my beliefs confuse you,
Which apparently translates into you walking all over my faith.
Your opinion is yours to decide, but do not force it into my mind,
With your tainted cordiality and corrupted power.
You bribe good people into submission, persuading them with your nauseating charm.
It sickens me, how you have everyone wrapped around your chubby finger.
The air of confidence surrounding you repulses me,
Until the disgust I feel is too much to handle and….
And then I just cannot go on anymore.
There is so much hate, and so little love.
Why do I even try anymore?
You claim to love God and all he stands for, but you are only a fraud,
Hiding behind the face of a man who is supposedly fighting for what he believes.
You question my beliefs because of Leviticus 18:22
But what about loving all God’s children?
Equality has already defied the laws of our country once?
Would you like to be the losing side of the next equality Amendment?
Do not doubt my faith for I have seen the light.
I will not go quietly into the night.
God has forgiven me of my sin, for I have confessed that I am not perfect.
Stop preaching to me, I have already heard the true words.
Do not condescend from up there on your high horse,
Because although I am not merciless,
Your pride I shall slaughter.
