Have you ever felt euphoric
Been stupid and reckless
Not caring what happened
Lived like it was your last night
That night we snuck into a party
We did all those things
Every last detail is etched into my mind
I know that I could have avoided it all
Causing him the pain of losing me
If I had just stayed away
But I was selfish
And I let him fall in love with me
I let him sit by my beside
And watch my life slip away
I guess we thought that
Some miracle would see us through
But life isn't a fairy tale
There isn't always a happy ending
No matter how much you want it
