New Horizons

As the light falls over the treetops,
I look at my reflection in the water.
I never thought I would do this well writing my feelings and emotions down.
It's like a painting on canvas.
This is my art form.
Could writing be my future?
Is this where I want to go?
Will I be accepted by others,
who have followed this path and have everything to show for it?
Are these really new horizons?
Or is it all a mirage?
