When you I sit, I sit next to you, but you don’t notice.
You think that I am far off, but really I’m the closest.
I can follow, but you’ll never stop to say a word.
I can talk the loudest, but I’m really never heard.
I feel like a whisper that blew in the wind.
You can try and listen, but you’ll never comprehend.
You can try to forget me.
But you can’t succeed,
I am a lion that you have to feed.
I don’t walk the path others do, I walk solo,
Mostly because, I am your shadow
