The petals of roses are as soft as cashmere,
But do not be fooled by the way they appear.
The needles that adorn their stems are as deadly as spines,
And on your fingers they will moderately dine.
Or they can be as haunting as a ghost,
This importance is utmost.
Or they can be as delicate as a dew drop,
That may fall out of the blue.
So beware of the petals that you think as gentle as rain,
Because to touch them,
You would try in vain.
