Empty words
My heart is in my hand,
My mind is filled with sand,
My soul screaming one thing clearly,
"Never love again,"
But I shant heed it's will,
For the the time I spent as a single young man,
I sat alone on a sunbathing hill,
No longer shall I be on my own,
I want a woman, my heart to hone,
My heart was hers but never again,
I shall find warmth in another,
As is the way of young men,
She shattered my heart and spit on it too,
And there might be some underneath her shoe,
The promises, kisses, and "love you"s were for naught,
Now the arms of another she's sought,
And for some stupid reason,
Her words I bought.
