My only love sprung from my only hate. Too early seen unknown and known too late.

This is the poem that no one reads
This is the poem that no one sees
This is the poem that never comes to mind
This poem just so happens to be mine

This is the poem that's lost in time

Sometimes you may feel as if no one will ever read what you write.

“I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day; I'd rather one should walk with me than merely tell the way: The eye's a better pupil and more willing than the ear, fine counsel is confusing, but example's always clear.” -Edgar Guest

hm :) I think all writers can be a little sympathetic, here. It dosen't matter what level you feel you are at, one could look at their work and say "this is garbage", or "I just wrote something really worthwile". But we will still have that little dissapointed feeling that no one will want to share it. It's delightful when its proven wrong, though!

I love the style of all your poems! I can connect with this poem whole-heartedly.

I know how you feel! Although for this poem in particular it's untrue. ;) It reminds me of some older poems like Sandburg's poetry, just saying what is. I love it. C:
