A crisp chill in the air
An ominous fog
October is here
Bringing trickery and treats
Pumpkin spice smell in the air
Brought by a mischievous wind
Leaves are a whirlwind of color
As they dance in the air
Joyful laughter from children
As raindrops splash down
The dreary weather is perfect
For hot cocoa and treats
Finally the night arrives
For scary spooky fun
And when the night is through
October says goodnight
