beep beep beep
white
glowing paint
stains your walls
fluorescent lights
blind me
making me strain my eyes
as if they could cover up
hide
drown
your secrets
beep beep beep
I can still see
the sadness
seeping out
from under the doors
making the air
thick
heavy
my lungs
endeavoring
for clean air
trying to breath
beep beep beep
its the same smell
everytime
all over
a mixture of
plastic
rubber
medicine
cafeteria food
the clicking
the clacking
of shoes
on those tiled floors
again
white
glowing
over washed
by the custodians
who think that somehow
they can scrub
the melancholy floors clean
make them
the way you want
them to be
beep beep beep
I keep squinting my eyes
they're getting
harder to open
with the anger
roaming the hallways
searing
stinging
shaking with rage
he walks
along side hopelessness
sunken shoulders
grey
he's apologizing
to everyone
I don't know why
beep beep beep
the careful construction
of empty smiles
constant head nodding
hands reaching
toward us
Sorry
I know you claim
many miracles
saved many lives
casted broken bones
broken hearts
Thank you
all the same
I want you gone
disappear
sink
fly away
I'm sorry
thank you
Hospital.
beeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
