"It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done, it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known." A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

Some people cry arrow tears
Wounding all who venture close
Seeking to bring comfort
Like an injured animal
They lash out
Pushing away love
The thing they need most
Arrow tears are all they know
The only way to release their pain
And so they push everyone away
With sharp edged arrows thrown their way
Until alone they sit
With only their pain
To keep them company
Until one day
A person will find them
And they will have tough skin
Arrows merely bouncing off them
And they will take them into their arms
And finally say
It will be all right
And wipe away their arrow tears
