Dancing in the rain
October 10, 2013
I dance in the rain
raise my hands to the sky,
shout my praise into the air to the sun,
asking its warmth and praise to shine
i close my eyes,
the rain running warm,
falling over my face,
not showing an care
i love this freedom,
i open my heart, letting my wings spread
i fly with joy, leaping from fear
darkness and sorrow and fear,
they cannot reach me hear,
i chant my words,
i flutter my wings,
i sing my song,
and i write my praise
i dance in the rain...
i am different, and that is ok,
