Where is Home?
Where is home?
To me, home is where
I am most at ease.
It’s where
Peace
Envelopes me
In a gentle embrace,
Shielding me from those who seek
Only to
Hurt.
Home is where my family is.
It’s the place I spend a year
Longing for,
And a summer
Simply being.
Home is where I used to spend time
With a man who had so little,
And yet knew so much,
Until his heart ran out of summers.
Now, only memories
Remain.
In a way,
Home is where the memories are,
The memories of
Sheer happiness,
Sadness,
And everything in between.
