Fall is not a season
Fall is a verb
A description
A word for cataclysmic clumsiness
Fall down the stairs
Fall off the swing
Fall from a stone into a stream
An effervescence, emotion in motion
Falling in and out of love
Night may fall
And so may leaves
The stereotype starts there
But the real name, the right name
It's aptly named, lyrical, lovely
An enveloping A, the kiss of a T
M dropping-falling-from the end
Yet it is so often overlooked
For the simpler synonym favored now
But not I
Autumn will always be Autumn to me
I'll leave the falling to rain from the sky
