While walking down the wide wild streets
I would open my bag for treats
and although everything on my body hurt, including my feet
I would try to shout out trick-or-treat for a nice greet
and I hope to only fill my bags with sweets
but after awhile my legs start to hurt and I want to take a seat
I looked in my bag and all I wanted to do was eat
sweat started to splash so I threw off my ghost-looking sheet
I tasted the candy and it danced in my mouth like a beat
and then I realized it was a dream and I awoke from my sleep

This poem is a monorhyme and I got the inspiration from the month October and it being known for Halloween. I hope that people will be able to imagine the imagery in the poem in their heads a get the feel of Halloween.
