Just a Breathe
Wonder why
 Such a short moment
 Can blow everything wide open
 Nothing big
 Not shattering
 But enough
 Hardly a breathe
 Though it stretches out
Suspended like a millon little shineing stars
 Fragile
 And that's it
 All the time needed
The world falls off it's axis
 Everything spins out of control
I take a step back and observe
 And marvel
 No shock
But it was like slow moiton
 Standing there
 Waiting
I can here the clock now
 Ticking
 *tick
 How did this happen
My own heart envelopes the ticking
 There is no importance
 *Thump *tick
 Together they create an orchestra
This is not a significant event
It will not make the news
 Only I am effected
 *Thump *Thump *Thump *Thump *tick
 No-one will notice
 I promise
 I know
All that could have been observed
 Is I took a breathe
The clock fades into the backround
So I close my eyes for one more beat of the heart
 And pretend
 They buy it
 Because nothing happened
 Well not really
