the Moon looked so lovely
as i drove down the road
one October night
i cursed myself for
not bringing
along my camera
but i promised myself
that i would
take a picture once
i got back home

by the time i got back
the Big Beautiful Yellow Moon
shrinked into a small white circle
i crawled back into bed
disgruntled, pulling the comforter over
my eyes
as the small white circle hung
forgotten
and
unnoticed
above my bedroom window

I actually experienced this one night in October however I failed to remember that the small white circle was not if not more beautiful as big beautiful yellow moon.
