Fear of Not Knowing
Please don't wheel her away
 just five more minutes
 allow her to stay

Theres too much to talk about
 in so little time
 my face is getting red
 i'm trin not to cry

 Please is there any information?
 how's she doing?
 did she survive the operation?

 Doctors scrambling round
 doing their job
 but as if something is
 terribly horribly wrong

 Our doctor comes into sight
 no emotion in the face
i feel like the only person
 in this whole place

Will it be some good news
 god forbid be bad
 is she safe in recovery
or resting in a plastic bag

 Please is there any information
 doctor tell me quick
I am loosing all my patience

 How is she doing
 is she still alive
 shes too strong and sweet
to just give up and die

 the uncertainty is killing me
the truth is soon to come
 he is slowly getting closer
I don't want to even hear
 what is the outcome

 As he approaches us
 his expression changes quick
he says your childs out of surgery
she is one tough little chick.
