Tall and slender like his mother,
short and lean like his father.
Green eyes, blue eyes;
both possessing short blond hair.
Chasing after one another
through the house, and out into the snow.
Their relationship varies;
Stormy seas, to a glassy ocean.
Looking to one another for encouragement.
Each having a sense of entitlement that they both loathe.
But they will learn;
grow like trees spreading their branches.
I think they will be great brothers,
and the best of friends.
But I am a mere observer.
