She's given
Up
On any kind of talionic existence
Because yes,
He
Hurt
Her
And yes,
Vengeance burns her
Tongue
But it's an empty thing, revenge: to
Destroy
The object of your
Wrath
And to be left with nothing but the
Hurt
That that person inflicted
Upon you
What does it really resolve, except to finally
Reveal to you
That you're no
Better?
So she decided on a compromise: to
Keep both her dignity and
Her soul
By forgiving
Because it wasn't for him,
Anyways.
