I would say “I love you”,
but that sentence is too simple.
And although I would only need two subjects,
there would be plenty of adjectives.

My love for you is exponential;
It grows by a factor of 2

I try my best to dam my love with logs,
But, my base is too weak,
And so is my heart.

You’re like an equation with too many variables,
And there’s no way to simplify.
I try to part it into fractions,
I do so only to my heart,

The radiance of your beauty,
Refracts into my heart,
I do try to step back,
But it’s so intense,
I can’t escape.

I try to stop my affection,
From invading my thoughts,
but it comes in waves,
even faster than light,
I have no choice,
but to surrender.

My BPM is immeasurable,
When I see you smile.
and I feel the ATPs being made,
To fuel my heart, which is frayed.

So my love for you is exponential,
And this growth is extraneous for my heart.
The boundary between the real and the imaginary,
Is a confounding variable,
In this uncontrolled experiment of love.
