Guys who have been hurt for too long and told too many lies.
Souls that shone through bright eyes,
Broken and shattered with black eyes
Disguised, with smiles and laughs.
But how goodhearted can you be when you only have a half?
But yet we still try,
We become masters of disguise.
Day after day putting on plastered smiles to hide our demise.
Rehearsing how to be good despite everyone claiming you’re not.
Outside you’re trying to please them while inside you’re screaming,
What more do you want?!
But don’t blame them.
They don’t know what you’re trying to hide.
They don’t understand what it’s like,
To be living on the dark side.
