I Love...
I love the first sip of coffee in the morning
I love the squealing laughter of two year olds
I love the way things glow when the sun hits them just right
I love long car rides to no place in particular
and the dry, warm breezes of summer
I love the way the snow looks first thing in the morning before it can be stepped on and lose its sparkle
I love books and tea on rainy days
and the first bite of food that you’ve been smelling cook all day
I love dogs and weeping willow trees and the color turquoise
I love movie nights
I love the heavy and light feel of July after the sun sets
I love swimming in lakes and being terrified of touching a fish
I love stepping on leaves and hearing them crunch
and losing track of time
These are the things that make life worth living, the things that make me smile a little every time I think of them, the things that I want to share with you.
