The Desperate Breath of Love
I lie, I starve, I fail.
 I'm little more than a
scalar number with magnitude and no direction.
 But what is it?
I see it as I can.
 Struggles or curses,
 concern or hatred?
I lose myself in the search.
I move to swim but sink instead-
 trying, but not hard enough.

 Rebel, distract, withdraw.
Maybe one day I'll find her.
