For Him.
I hear it in my dreams,
It comforts me when I’m feeling weak.
Ending and beginning kisses,
Hushed tones and whispered words,
Chills down my body.
I will never forget the sound.
Your voice.
Green and endless,
I stare into the windows of your soul,
You keep the blinds shut,
But I’m slowly seeing cracks,
I long to look into you.
Your eyes.
Loud and unafraid.
You crinkle your nose,
You give me that look,
Raise your eyebrows,
That smile playing on your lips.
That beautiful glitter in your eyes.
I love to be the reason for it.
Your laughter.
Warmth against warmth.
Sensations both so subtle
But strong.
Feeling dizzy, yet everything falls into place.
Losing myself,
Finding you.
I don’t want them to ever cease.
Your kisses.
My favorite place in the world
Head against your chest
Listening to your heartbeat
Close enough to breathe you in
Can’t get enough
I want to melt into you
Your embrace.
The world is now a beautiful place,
No longer do I want to hide.
Instead I run,
Chasing the elusive happiness,
The only thing keeping me going.
Your love.
