How Do the Stars Look These Days?
I think

I've forgotten how the stars look

 Because

The morning's the only thing keeping

  Me going

And the daylight has caught me in

 It's perpetual

 Ball and chain

 And it keeps me awake

But it's not terminal, nor is it short

 I'll have the sunlight

 But where's your moonlight?
