Favorite Quote:
Nothing's impossible, just improbable.

a hum in the distance
crocuses the first violinist
sprouts a note

a note

a note
all at once
the other strings
bass poppies, cello daffodils, fleeting daisies
the audience calls
calls for the brass
up pop the strawberry chords
baking in the oven of the world

hush

reverence for the great
percussion trees
striking the drums of

protruding roots

extending limbs

all at once
boom! thrum!
the clouds float in
gentle flutes lightening the symphony
calm
quiet
expectation
at the conductor's direction

hush

the stage lights are lit
the sun bestowing his powerful rays
the dancers enter
fleeting butterflies, ballerinas floating on the whim
of the great choreographer
wind
flowing together
leap
twirl
the ensemble together
spins a graceful spider's web
it collects dew
so it sparkles in the sunrise light
the spectacle!
the sensation!
the audience in stunned silence
suspended in the surreal
that is just outside your window

hush

This poem seemed a little cliche to me, but accurate. Sometimes the things that people say all the time are repeated for a reason.
