The entire 1997 classic, Aladdin

A girl sits
Alone, still,
On a dock
Peering out into waters
That she does not know.

Sea foam hits her skin
Like icy knives that
Sting, awaken
Senses that were long
Asleep.

They call her,
Strange, alien
Sounds appeal to her
Begging her to join them,
The girl breathes slowly.

Eyes down, closer,
Closer, closer,
The girl does not know
What lies in the water,
What hides beneath the waves

But she must jump.
She must
Fly, plunge
Deep into the sea,
Until the dock
Is gone.

Goodbye she thinks,
Thinks as she sinks
Goodbye dock
Goodbye safety
Goodbye breaths breathed,
Things seen.

A girl sinks
Alone, frantic.
In the darkness of water,
You don’t see.

This piece can be interpreted in a few ways. Some may see it as a girl jumping into the future but it could also be that she's being lured in by a false kind of future that only ends up killing her.
