There were bugs on her shirt.
They were on piles of dirt.
Spiders, mantises, cockroaches, and ants,
Even flies on her pants.
Butterfly notebooks at her school
Moth swimsuits in the pool
Grasshopper pictures on her wall.
Cricket handles on her bathroom stall.
Beetle books on her shelf.
Ladybug toys for herself.
Bee patterns on her bed.
Dragonfly clips on her head.
Wasp tattoos on her hand.
Worm mold made out of sand.
Here and there,
Insects swarm everywhere.
