Its beautiful.
Flowers blooming.
Sun smiling down on me.
The silence,
peaceful.

Look closely at the grass,
as it shines
and gleams.
As the dew slips down
on the smooth soft leaf.

Upturned roots,
still bare,
rising high in the sky
as though they can reach
the heavens.

The birds,
soaring,
while the wind
glides through their feathers
and keeps them afloat.

The smell of flowers,
tender to my nose.
The ruffle of the grass,
as the wind blows
tickles my ear.

The sun,
peaking over the hilltop.
A kid wanting to play
with nature,
and nothing more.

The wind,
blows my hair
like a sail.
It feels good...
It all feels good.

Natures perfection,
peace,
has infused my life
with the peace
of my mind.

It's a lovely poem. Grammar irritates me - 'it's' not 'its' in your first line ahhh - but other than that, it's great. Some bits need linking words and don't need commas, but in other places you've used them well :) Very nice

I've no real criticisms, minus the usage of the word "afloat" to describe something in the air. The rest of it is probably exactly what you aimed for. Serene natural imagery. 4.5/5.

I think this is my favorite one of the poems that I read of yours so far. VERY very good.. =) I loved how you described things. I liked how you wrote: "Look closely at the grass, as it shines and gleams. As the dew slips down on the smooth soft leaf" That was just a beautiful part there. Anyways I really loved this poem and keep up the awesome poetry.
